No one wants to go to war. There are those that want war, but no one wants to actually go to war. In 2014 the US state department helped pro-European and anti-Russian groups inside Ukraine depose president Yanukovych after he refused to sign a trade/political agreement with the Eurozone. As explained in the next paragraph, eventually war broke out and warmongers have since demanded that young American males be sent to kill young Russian men while probably also dying in addition to the locals. Despite the best efforts of the warmongers and their financial interests, the American public is likely to refuse to accept declared war with Russia due to war weariness, increased general awareness of the types of atrocities occurrent in war, and with increasing weight, a public distaste for American interventionism and its injustices.

The executive department justified the ousting of Ukrainian president Yanukovych in December of 2014, when Vice President McCain explained to Ukrainians in Kiev that the United States would support Kiev’s cause for independence from Russia. Parts of Eastern Ukraine including Crimea had internal interests acting towards independence from Ukraine. Then, Russia famously invaded and annexed Crimea, while ignoring the parts of eastern Ukraine it is now concerned with today. With the world and Russia focused on Crimea, Ukraine sent its military to the breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine, which Russia had ignored in 2014. After years of bombings of Eastern Ukraine by Western Ukraine were ignored by the United States, Russia claimed a justified compulsion to help the people undergoing the shelling of eastern Ukraine. The citizens of which, as Vladimir Putin explained to Tucker Carlson, are ethnic Russians, but regardless, they were being oppressed after rightfully voting for their independence from Ukraine, and they might as well be annexed into Russia like Crimea since they were receiving humanitarian relief and military protection from Russia. The preceding sentence is the Russian point of view as explained by Putin to Carlson in their interview released on X on 2/8/2024.

Frankly, the story of Ukraine since 2014 hasn’t convinced the average outsider of the moral justification of the United States’ actions, quite the opposite. The legal justification has long since been squirreled away, leaving only morality as methods of justification and condemnation.  The dubiousness of America’s foreign military involvements has increased rapidly due to the increased spread of information, concurrently increasing the unwillingness of America’s people to go to war.

My other blog has zero traffic because I talked about my own personal interests instead of the rich and famous’ personal interests, which include politics, war, power, gold, land, and innocence. I refuse to use Chat GPT to write this blog, everything on this website was written by me, an adult human. Which reminds me, there’s an orthodox priest on youtube who states that fantasy is one of the biggest problems in the church today. Fantasy certainly seems to be the driving force behind a global and societal malaise that many have identified.

Anyways, before I start playing video games or watching sports, something akin to inhaling opium fumes, I’d better get to the main point, which is that, while I support the United States as a people, and some of the government’s actions, the government has overstepped its duties on multiple occasions. Like when Eric Holder, Attorney General under Obama, sold guns to cartels, or when George Bush invaded part of Asia, or when Clinton brokered permanent most favored nation status to China, or when Lyndon B. Johnson invaded Vietnam, starting the bombing campaign operation rolling thunder on March 2, 1965, which was after congress voted on August 7, 1964 to give Johnson the ability to wage war in Vietnam without calling it war after he lied in a national address on August 4, 1964 about being attacked that day by Vietnamese belligerents in the Gulf of Tonkin, which is 8.5 months after Kennedy was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963. So, less than a year after a president who was hesitant to use military invention overseas was assassinated, his successor managed to authorize an invasion based on a false premise.

It’s easy to point out presidents as the major sources of corruption that occurred during their terms, but of course most of the corruption occurs in executive agencies and in congress which are far from the residing president’s reach. Especially nowadays as federal executive bureaus have grown so large in power and scope since their formations, especially since 9/11/01, as to be entirely impenetrable by the president, but entirely open to foreign interests. It’s hard to describe the extent of the various corruption types that currently exist in Washington without writing a novel. Thousands of people and organizations are involved. All of the corruption takes place in between the carefully molded avoidance zones created by the law and social popularity. Respecting those boundaries, some of which are lightly guarded, the employed people of Washington D.C. are free to explore the limits of popular anger their actions might bring about. Their counterparts in London and Beijing have successfully increased the limits of their control without a popular uprising, due to the increased tyranny tolerances of those citizens. The United State’s federal employees are doing their best to catch up.

When looking at the government’s past proclivity to invade nations for financial reasons. When the American government started conducting foreign invasions for financial reasons, which is something that a lot of formerly powerful nations have done quite often, it started becoming difficult for American citizens to support interventionism. The ability of the government to wage war for corrupt purposes by painting on a patriotic veneer has been exhausted to such an extent it’s complete withdrawal from the world’s conflict areas has become popular with males aged 12-38, in addition to the residents of those invaded locations. However, now the world is taking notice of America’s global military failings, and especially the muslim world, which hasn’t united with a self-aggrandized notion of brotherhood this strong in centuries. Europeans, seemingly still as subservient to America as they were when the Marshall plan was first signed, are not strong enough on their own to substantively demand America’s cessation. Germany, the strongest European nation, has hobbled itself by closing it’s healthy carbon based and nuclear based power plants in favor of paying for Americans to ship them natural gas and buying spare electricity from France’s nuclear plants, while at the same time not buying as much gas from Russia.

This leaves the observant American increasingly opposed to associating themselves with the dangerous and odious calling of war. Many Americans would not approve the validity of purported justifications for war, in effect undermining the capacity of the government to continue to wage war. I personally prefer eating dinner each day in peace to war and really hope it doesn’t come to war. That would interfere with the self-serving plans I created in January.
