Build your fortress of the mind, body, and soul
Due to our modern lives and technology, we’ve lost a lot of our outdoor abilities! This website will be all about providing you with the tools you need to reconnect with the great outdoors. While the overall theme will be survival preparedness, most of the content will be about standard outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, watersports, firearms, fishing, and more!
Resilience in a sleeping world
I started off with a light topic, because the next two sections will be more serious. There is a widening gap between those who are conscious of the fragility of society and those who are not. The majority of the population is not concerned with all the potential maladies the world has to offer simply because they have not experienced them. We all know that despots can rise to power, nations can invade other nations, and people can commit violence, but here in the west, those things seem like artefacts of bygone eras or reserved to remote backwaters, with no possibility of those things ever occurring in the west. This website is for those who know their history, want to become resilient, and understand that America is not exempt from war at home, strife, suffering, or scarcity. We will focus on the tools, mindsets, and abilities that will allow us to become more capable of protecting and defending ourselves and our families.
Survivor Fortress is an exercise in increasing resiliency, through practical means, with a level mindset. We will not focus on doom and gloom or fantasies, only practical solutions. The content of this website will heavily correlate with outdoor activities, because being competent in outdoor activities is fun, gets us out of the office, off the computer, and away from the TV, all while increasing our physical abilities.
The fourth turning – “Weak Men Create Hard Times”
The cycle goes; renewal, stabilization, decline, crisis. We’re quickly speeding through the decline phase and fast approaching the crisis phrase. The current world order is like a freight train, if you slam on the brakes, it’ll take a mile to stop, but regardless, the brakes have been slammed and the train will stop.
The enemies of the west are real, and certainly won’t stop unless we do something about it. We don’t know if they can be stopped in time, or the degree to which things will collapse. But one things for certain, existential difficulties are certainly a very real possibility, and we must be prepared for them.
In Conclusion
This website will provide tips, how-to guides, best practices, and mindset / motivational information to help the average person living in the west to be more resilient to potential dangers that might be encountered in an increasingly dangerous world. Some of these things can be heavy topics, and to make sure we aren’t being lost in over-worrying, a lot of the content will have a focus on fun outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping, which double as SHTF preparedness. This will most often take the form of everyday discussion topics, such as what are the best hiking boots, what should I have in my bug-out bag, how do I clean rainwater, etc. Thank you for your readership, feel free to browse around topics that interest you, and God bless!
